They're all silver. Made using ingenious ready made elements covered with tiny bits of silver. My wrap is just supposed to help them shine.
Love the strong color contrast in these. I also forgot, how I liked doing this round beaded pattern. I think I should make more of it...
The amazing blue color I saw once staring down from the Rock of Gibraltar is forever stuck in my memory. This, and the multitude of cultures, traces of which you can notice there, intertwining throughout history were an inspiration for this necklace. Large in form, but light in color - like the Mediterranean.
Thanks to my lovely friend Edyta, who agreed to model some of my jewelry... although her neck is so tiny I probably should have shortened the necklace, as it doesn't fit as it should. (envy speaking here...;) )
Ponad rok temu, będąc u znajomych na Dolnym Śląsku kupiłam sobie mebelek na targu w Lubinie. Mebelek był biały, a raczej żółknący. Pomalowany kilkoma warstwami paskudnej farby. Mnie zamarzył się mebelek ciemnobrązowy. Pełna zapału zaczęłam zdzierać warswy farby przy pomocy chemikaliów, papierów ściernych i brata, dopóki nie okazało się, że blat mojego pięknego mebelka to sklejka a nie drewno i pewnie moja wymarzona bejca go nie przykryje. Zapał opadł i chęci zabrakło, aż do zeszłego miesiąca, kiedy to zainspirowana niesamowitymi kreatywnymi poczynaniami "bestyjeczki" z bloga "Nowy dom w starym stylu" zmierzyłam się z mebelkiem po raz kolejny. Udało się! Przy odrobinie wysiłku mebelek opuścił garaż rodziców i stanął w moim wynajmowanym. Oto mebelek w trakcie i po, zdjęć w pierwotnym stanie, rok temu niestety nie zrobiłam ale widać troszkę na szufladzie, obok szuflady, po lewej sklejkowy blat.
Over a year ago, visiting friends in the Lower Silesia I bought a piece of furniture at a flee market in Lubin. This piece of furniture was white, well.. rather ugly old yellow white. Painted with several layers of ugly paint. I wanted to make it dark brown, almost black. Full of enthusiasm I started to rip off layers of paint using chemicals, sanding paper and my brother, until it turned out that the top of my beautiful piece of furniture is plywood and not wood as the rest of it, and probably the staining process I wanted to use won't work. I gave up for a whole year, until last month, when inspired by the incredible creative actions of "bestyjeczka" the blog "Nowy dom w starym stylu" took on the task again. And I did it! With a little effort the piece of furniture left my parent's garage and got a place in my rented apartment. Here are the photos: during the process and after, unfortunately I have no photos of the original from a year ago. You can imagine by looking at the drawer on one of the photos.

New pieces ment as a bridal jewelry. Cos everyone around me seems to be in love, engaged, getting married or about to have a child. I blame spring...totally.
Nowe kolczyki, pomyślane jako biżuteria ślubna. Ponieważ wszyscy wokół są albo zakochani, albo zaręczeni albo wkrótce się pobierają albo niedługo urodzi się im potomek. Winię wiosnę ... całkowicie!
